Joe Kinnear has proved to be the hard taskmaster, as despite steering his side clear of relegation and helping them finish the season on the healthy total of 60 points, he has rued the points that the club did miss out on.
Joe Kinnear is not content with just avoiding relegation and he wants even more out of his players. In his exlusive column in today's Nottingham Evening Post he spoke of his regret over the draws and losses his team endured.
"The sixth-placed team ended up 13 points ahead of us and, while I'm delighted to have reached 60, I cannot help thinking it could have been even better," said Kinnear.
"The number of points we got was great but there were still a few that slipped away."
Their is something of the aura of Brian Clogh about this guy. He will never be satisfied. His aim is to win every game and everything else is just not god enough. Good on ya.
