5 players to sign-on! (No not like in Yorkshire!)

Five players are due to sign contracts with Forest in the summer if all goes as planned. These are Paul Gerrard, Andy Impey, Alan Rogers, Eoin Jess and Gareth Williams as well as Des Walker in a coaching role.

According to recent media reports 5 current Nottingham Forest players are hoping to sign permananet deals. First of all the loaness who if don't sign a permananent contract at the City Ground have already left us. Alan Rogers, Andy Impey and especially Paul Gerrard have all performed immensly since arriving on Trentside and they will feature heavily next season if they do sign on the dotted line.

Two of the current first-team are also nearing the end of their deals. Gareth Williams and Eoin jess our Scottish duo are all awaiting extensions. Hopefully Gareth Williams will sign as he has improved a lot since the departing of Paul Hart under whom he looked feeble and week. Eoin jess is getting old now though and I'm not sure if he is the type of palyer we need to keep on at teh City Ground.

Des Walker is also out-of-contract but he expected to sign on for a coaching rold with the club helping to developp the youth and give back to the footballing world.

All over players should be at the City ground at least until teh end of next season and looking to help the club gain promotion. The only in-contract player who is a doubt to be playing for us next season is Andy Reid, who is the interest of several Premiership clubs.
