Alan Rogers is a free agent

Leicester City have released Alan Rogers and he will be departing the Walker's Stadium as soon as his contract expires. This means that he is free to join up with The Reds... And manager Joe Kinnear has already stated that he is looking to hold on to him.

Nottingham Forest loanee Alan Rogers who has now finished his spell has been told by leicester City manager Micky Adams that he is free to leave and go and join Nottingham Forest if he wishes.

The scum's manager told the LCFC official website: "I have spoken to the three players in question and informed them that we will not be offering them new terms for the upcoming campaign."

This mean we will now almost certainly be seeing 'Tank' joining the Reds for the third time as he has enjoyed his time here previously and Joe Kinnear has recentky stated that he would love to keep him.
