Nottingham Forest have taken Slovakian under 21 international midfielder Igor Zofcak on trial. Forest have a number of quality players in the center of the park, but will be looking to improve their options. The player is seen as a hot prospect in his home country.

According to Slovakian teletext, Joe Kinnear has taken Igor Zofcak on trial. The Under-21 international midfielder, who plays club football for MFK Ruzomberok, is seen as a very hot prospect in his home country and will be looking for first-team action this season, should he earn himself a move.

Milan Lednicky, the players agent, said: "Nottingham (Forest) coach Joe Kinnear is looking for a player to play wide midfield. Igor will probably stay in Nottingham until Friday and he will play in one friendly game.

"Everything depends on him and on the representatives of Nottingham."
