A gutsy performance by Vancouver provides the win in Portland. the Timbers seemed in control but could not put the match away as Vavcouver took advantage of a mistake in overtime.

June 12 Timbers 0 Vancouver 1 (OT)

The Timbers came out flat having miscues on the attacking end. One of the best attacks in the first half came with Jake Sagare getting by his man feeding a nice pass that Alan Gordon tried to settle resulting in an easy keeper save. The second half Andrew Gregor found Dan Antoniuk whos shot made the keeper work for a nice save, Vancouver relied on the counter attack which allmost netted them some goals in regulation. the games only goal came in over time as Jeff Clarke's cross found its way to Winston Griffiths who put it in for the win. this was Vancouvers first win in the Cascadia cup and Portlands first loss.
