Preview v Elgin

ELGIN CITY v QUEEN'S PARK
(Scottish League - Bells Division Three)

Saturday, 26th October, 2002 at Borough Briggs, Elgin - kick off : 3.00pm

Possible Spiders Line-Up

Colin Stewart
Damiano Agostini

Steven Moffat

John Gallagher
Stevie Fallon Danny Ferry Tony Quinn Johnny Whelan Jimmy Allan
John Gemmell Willie Martin
Recent Form : Whilst Queen's wretched run continues, Elgin's last win came three games ago when they beat East Stirlingshire 2-1 in Falkirk. Then, following a 0-1 defeat at home to Morton, they played out a scoreless draw at Gretna to keep them in the bottom half of the table.
Likely Outcome : If last Saturday's second half was anything to go by, then Queen's fans will not be setting off early this Saturday morning full of optimism. Hopefully John McCormack will restore Danny Ferry and Stevie Fallon to their respective midfield and wing back berths otherwise there could be a similar lack of creativity. Even if the side lines up along more recognisable lines, this is not a venue that many sides look forward to visiting and another defeat looks likely. 3-1 to Elgin.
