Radcliffe Borough were promoted ahead of Chorley despite throwing away a 2 goal lead in the play-off final. Banim and Hardy gave Radcliffe a 2-0 half-time lead, but Eatock (82) and Wilkinson (90) pulled it back to take the tie into extra time and penalties. Despite the comeback Boro won 4-2 after the shoot-out.

Radcliffe join UniBond First Division Winners Alferton Town, and runners-up Spennymoor United, and Southport who were relegated from the Nationwide Conference on the last game of the season.

The relegated teams were Hyde United and Welsh outfit Colwyn Bay, and Gateshead failed to win the play-offs.

Accrington beat Marine in the Peter Swailes Challenge Shield. To second half goals from Paul Mullin was enough for Accy.
