Hazard the difference as United can't make possession count

Hazard and Rooney

Manchester United's winning run came to an end at Stamford Bridge, on a frustrating Saturday evening for the Red Devils.

Eden Hazard grabbed the only goal of the game on 38 minutes as Chelsea edge ever close to the Premier League title.

The performance of Louis van Gaal's men probably warranted more, with Chelsea made to fight by a battle-hardened United.

Wayne Rooney and Radamel Falcao, who made a rare start, came closest for the visitors, but a six-match unbeaten run has come to an end as Chelsea grind out another win on their way to the league title.

United, however, will wish they had done more with the 70% possession they chalked up throughout the game. A missed opportunity.

Full Time - Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United
Attendance - 41,422
