Manchester United have failed to score in three successive games, but brought a point back to the North West following Saturday's stalemate against Crystal Palace.

Following Wednesday's League Cup disappointment, United couldn't bounce back with victory at Selhurst Park.

Despite enjoying much possession, Louis van Gaal's men struggled to carve out opportunities in a trend which should be causing United's Dutch boss some concern.

Palace, by contrast, looked more dangerous and registered more shots. Former Red Devil Wilfried Zaha was a constant threat, and the Eagles may feel a little aggrieved not to have secured maximum points.

Wayne Rooney and co must now look to end a mini-goal drought at Old Trafford on Tuesday when CSKA Moscow visit for a Champions League clash.
