Bardsley with Rooney

Former Manchester United defender Phil Bardsley has swapped Stoke City for Burnley, as the new Premier League season edges closer.
The Scottish international has penned a two-year deal with the Clarets, and faces a reunion with United at Turf Moor on 20 January.
Bardsley returns to Burnley, having spent a month with the club on a loan basis in 2006 during his time as a Red Devil.
He spent four and a half years at United, but notched up only 18 appearances and also spent time on loan at Royal Antwerp, Rangers, Aston Villa and Sheffield United, before a £2million switch to Sunderland.
