David May heads to Ibrox

Former Manchester United defender David May has been signed by Glasgow Rangers on trial.

The 33-year-old was released by Sir Alex Ferguson last month after nine years service at Old Trafford.

“It's no secret that we are looking for some cover in the centre half position and that’s why May is here” said Rangers assistant boss Andy Watson.

The SPL Champions are also rumoured to be interested in United’s bright prospect Michael Stewart, and is believed to be lining up a loan bid.

Good Luck to May at Ibrox.
