Ronaldinho has chosen Old Trafford as his first-choice destination ahead of Barcelona. The transfer is now awaiting to be concluded as the Brazilian's heart seems to be set at United.

The versatile 24 year old attacker has given Barcelona the cold-shoulder and has chosen United as his preferred destination for his long-awaited transfer.
Paris Saint-Germain, Ronaldinho’s current employers, insist that Manchester United are yet to make an offer. Ronnie’s price tag is expected to be around ₤22 million. "At the moment, we have only received written offers from Barcelona and Chelsea," read a statement on the PSG website. However the Brazilian refuses to join either of these clubs, and seems persistent on joining the Premiership Champions. "Ronaldinho wants to go to Manchester United," The world cup winner’s agent and brother revealed. “Now it is just a question of waiting for the deal to be completed.” PSG have also just signed Portuguese international striker Pauleta, opening the way for Ronaldinho’s departure. The Red Devils will be working overtime to try to finalize the transfer, so that Ronaldinho can join their 4-match US tour, to which they depart on Saturday. |
