Clubs Extend Youngster's Loan Deals

Daniel Nardiello has extended his loan spell at 2nd Division outfit Barnsley until the end of the season. Fellow United youngster Neil Wood has also extended his loan spell at 1st Division Burnley until the end of the season joining United pal Luke Chadwick with The Clarets.

21-year-old Wood is yet to make his first-team bow at Old Trafford, but he scored for Peterborough United during his short loan three-match loan spell with Barry Fry's club. Neil Wood is highly rated in the United reserve and youth set-ups, but he has been unable to break into contention for a run-out in the first-team, and the move to Turf Moor will do the world of good to the forward. Daniel Naridello is a 21-year old highly-rated striker has already been on-loan to a Nationwide Division clue this year. He spent a month at Swansea City with fellow youngster Alan Tate, and made a a big impact at The Vetch. Half Welsh/ half English Nardiello has made only 4 appearances, mainly as a substitute in the Champions League, since joining Old Trafford from Wolves at a very young age. He recently appeared in the Carling Cup defeat against West Brom. |
