Marseille have confirmed the signing of Manchester United's out-of-favour goalkeeper Fabien Barthez, who will leave the Red Devils for the French outfit at the end of the season. The eccentric Frenchman recently had his contract terminated at Old Trafford after falling out-of-favour to Tim Howard.

Manchester United's out-of-favour goalkeeper Fabien Barthez, who will
leave the Red Devils for the French outfit at the end of the season.
The eccentric Frenchman recently had his contract terminated at Old Trafford after falling out-of-favour to Tim Howard and Roy Carroll in-between the sticks. The current France No.1 has put pen-to-paper on a 2-year deal at the Stade Velodrome after impressing and could even reach a UEFA Cup final if L'OM find a way past Sir Bobby Robson's Newcastle. The 32-year old has revealed his desire to end his career and hang up his boots with Marseille in recent weeks and has now finally signed a deal with Jose Anigo's outfit. |
