Exeter 'Keeper Takes Cup Award

Exeter City goalkeeper Paul Jones has picked up F.A Cup player of the round after his clean sheet against Manchester United at Old Trafford. The teenage shot stopper is on-loan at St.James' Park from Leyton Orient, and is enjoying life with the Grecians.

He frustrated almost 60,000 home supporters for 90 of the worst minutes Sir Alex Ferguson has endured as manager of Manchester United, and now Exeter City 'keeper Paul Jones has picked up another accolade. Goalkeeper of the Devon outfit has been rewarded with F.A Cup player of the round for the third hurdle of the world famous competition after keeping a clean sheet at Old Trafford.

The 18-year-old teenager has made an instant name for himself during his loan spell with the Grecians from Leyton Orient. He took 50% of votes on Football Association poll, following fellow Exeter player Dean Moxey into the F.A Cup Dream team. Moxey took the reward for round two.

Jones will know it will take another magnificent performance if Exeter are to cause an even bigger upset and knock United out of the Cup on Wednesday. Sir Alex will field a far stronger side than the one that flopped at home, looking to retain the F.A Cup after bringing the silverware to the Theatre of Dreams last season.
