Kuqi Gets Number 14

New signing Njazi Kuqi has officialy been handed the number 14 shirt for the remainder of the season. The Finnish Under-21 striker signed from FC Lahti takes over the shirt from Stern John who left for Coventry earlier this season.

New blues striker Njazi Kuqi has officially been given the number 14 shirt for the rest of the season. Kuqi will not be available to play against Newcastle as the move has to go through internation clearing and with the FA currently on their Christmas holidays it will not go through untill a few days after the game against the Geordies.

Kuqi could be handed his first start in the FA Cup game against Leeds should manager Steve Bruce feel he is ready straight away.

The number 14 shirt once belonged to blues legend Stern John, a great striker who's goals got the club promoted and of course got us many last minute points, most notibly against the villa! So heres hoping the Njazi can follow on in his footsteps and become the great player Steve Bruce has said he can become.
