Schofield in the final 4 for MOTM

Imps' boss, John Schofield has been shortlisted as one of the 4 choices for the League 2 Manager of the Month. After a perfect October in the league, the Imps went top of the table meaning that if Schoey does win the award then he'll be prime for a harder fall should the curse take place.

Along with Bury's Chris Casper, Stockport's Jim Gannon and Walsall's Richard Money, Schofield was listed as one of the 4 managers up for the award by Coca-Cola League representative Chris Kamara. Between the 4 clubs, not a single loss was recorded in the league but all 4 went out in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Schofield isn't the only man at Sincil Bank to be up for an award as Jamie Forrester is up for Player of the Month, facing off against ex-Imp Dean Keates and Bury's Glynn Hurst.

City's men have been made favourites for their awards due to the Imps impressive scoring record in October.
