Relegation rivals draw

Bradford City and Burton Albion drew on Tuesday evening in a result that neither side will be happy with. It now means Burton have used all their games in hand and everyone is on a level playing field, and a draw was a good result for the Imps.

John McGrath gave Burton the lead in their final game in hand over Barnet, however, much like the vast majority of their eight games in hand over the last few months, they failed to see out of the game and Jake Speight equalised for Bradford later on in the half.

It was a good result for the Imps as it means Bradford haven't pulled away and Burton haven't overtaken the Imps. Northampton are now the team Barnet are chasing.

1/3 of the division are still in a realistic chance of going down with just four games left and whilst the Imps travel to Bury on Friday, the final three games of the season come against three teams who City have gained a total of seven points against throughout the season. One of which includes Cheltenham, who were challenging for promotion earlier in the season, and they are one of the most out of form teams in the division.

A win on Friday could virtually guarantee survival for the Imps, leaving us a potential of nine points clear of Barnet with just three games to play.
