Popular and consistent defender Miller has proved to be one of our best players since we entered non-league and on several occassions the Imps have successfully managed to thwart the efforts of higher league clubs to keep him.

Debut : 24th March 2012 vs Newport County

Englishman Miller was a player that not many fans at Sincil Bank had heard of that, that despite having previously played for Newport County against the Imps just a few months before signing for the Imps. 

After spending 18 months with Dundalk, he signed for Newpor in early 2011 and played regularly for the Exiles, however, it was a pre-season game against Bolton where he showed just how ruthless he can be as a defender, breaking the leg of Bolton's Lee Chung-Yong in a pre-season friendly (below).

 

Newport soon released him from his contract before he linked up with Lincoln in March 2012. He proved an instant hit with Imps fans due to his brilliant defending and his signing coincided with much improved form for the club, including his debut against former club Newport. He left the Imps at the end of that season and had trials at various non-league clubs before failing to earn a contract with any of them.

Miller soon returned to the Imps and again proved to be an excellent defender, being one of the club's stand out players before finally committing long term to the club at the end of the 2012/13 season.
