And the Imps are off to Southend

The Imps finally know their opponents for the 2nd round of the FA Cup. Southend scored a goal in 2nd half stoppage time. Southend had to come from behind twice to disappoint the majority of a large crowd.

A last minute winner from Leon Cort gave Southend a rather undeserved 3-2 victory over Canvey Island. As the game looked to be heading for extra time, Cort smashed a shot in the bottom corner to send the Shrimps through.

The game will be on 6th December at Roots Hall.
