Kev transfer listed by Macc

Former Imps defender, Kevin Sandwith is set to leave Macclesfield Town just a few short months after joining them. Sandwith joined the Silkmen from the Imps' during the summer but the lack of a decent backline to cover him has cost both him and Macc dearly as they try to avoid relegation.

Sandwith left the Imps a few weeks after being offered a new deal by Keith Alexander and he joined the team that he helped beat in the playoffs, Macclesfield Town, where he joined another former Imp, Mark Bailey. Now however, people are realising how awful Sandwith is now that he doesn't have a decent defence to correct any mistakes he makes.

Sandwith's inclusion on the transfer list now added to the list of players who left the Imps for so called "better clubs" but are now struggling to make an impact. Out of all the players to leave during the summer, it's ironic that only Taylor-Fletcher has made a success out of himself after being the only first team player not to be offered a new contact. Peter Gain has had mild success at Peterborough but other than that, it's been a miserable time for the former Imps'

Ben Futcher can't even make the bench at Boston after almost single handedly ruining their start to the season. Simon Yeo has been a part of a New Zealand Knights squad that has lost all but 1 of their games so far this season. Richard Butcher has now returned on loan to the Imps after a miserable start to his Oldham career that saw him singled out for abuse by their fans.

I had to be smug but it is quite pleasing to see all these players (other than Yeo) leave for "footballing" reasons and fail miserablY.
