City set to get Friday feeling

Due to varying factors, Lincoln City have rearranged 3 of the season's fixtures to Friday evenings, two at home and one away. The re-arranged games will now kick off on Friday evening but the Imps failed in their attempts to change the date of the home match against Swindon Town.

Both games against Hartlepool United have been moved to Friday night fixtures and City will be hoping to avoid the same fate as the last Lincolnshire team to go to Victoria Park on a Friday night, that result was a 8-1 victory for the Pool over Grimsby Town. Speaking of Grimsby Town, the home fixture has been brought forward to a 1pm kick off for safety reasons. City have also changed the home game with Accrington Stanley to avoid conflicting with the England game but City failed in an attempt to get the home game with Swindon re-arranged as the Wiltshire club didn't want to change the fixture at this time.

Fixture Alterations

Accrington Stanley will now visit Sincil Bank on Friday 1st September with a 7:45pm kick off

Hartlepool United will now visit Sincil Bank on Friday 6th October with a 7:45pm kick off

Grimsby Town will still be played on 16th December but will kick off at 1pm.

City will travel to Hartlepool United on Friday 9th March with a 7:45pm kick off.
