Robins In!

Mark Robins has become Coventry City’s third manager of the season, and will be looking to last longer than Andy Thorn, four games, and Richard Shaw, six games! (Defeat against Carlisle and a hammering against Arsenal might just have him questioning his decision to sign!).
According to rumours, Robins was the second choice (Out of the three that made the short-list!), after the club failed to agree terms with Paul Ince – something the club deny.
Robins, who famously once saved Alex Ferguson from the sack at Manchester United, has previously managed at Rotherham and Barnsley, taking them both from the bottom of the table to far more successful times.
According to the all knowing Wikipedia, Robins has been in management for 220 games, and won 84 of them, drawing 55, and losing 81.
In one of his first press conferences with Coventry City, MR stated: ‘the players must take responsibility’ – presuming he means for the current dismal showings, rather than the continued blaming of SISU for all that is wrong with the club, then he is already a hero in my eyes!
Robins also went on to say: ‘There has been a ten year slide in terms of results and we have got to try to stop that’. Amen to that….
