Leicester replace fans 'Piper' shirts

Leicester are to replace all new replica shirts with bearing the name Piper and No. 29 after the winger completed his move to Sunderland.

The 20-year-old completed his expected £3.5million transfer to Sunderland and the club has moved to pacify angry supporters who bought their new shirts with Piper's name and number on the back.

The club sold over 300 from its superstore and will now replace the shirts with a new replica.

Piper was a bright spot for the club last season despite relegation and the fact that he scored the last ever goal at Filbert Street will have no dount increased the sale of 'Piper 29' shirts.

All handed in shirts will be given to a local charity.

In the age where replica shirts are replaced quicker than ever, Leicester's actions have to applauded and we at 'afunnyoldgame' do so. Well done Leicester.
