Leicester boss gets award

Leicester boss Micky Adams has won the Manager of the Month award for Septemeber.

Adams' Leicester team have four games and drew one last month to climb into second place behind Portsmouth.

Adams prefered to credit his team and staff for the award though. "It is always tremendous to see your hard work recognised in this way and in that respect this award belongs as much to the players and my coaching staff as it does to me."

Oldham's Ian Dowie won the 2nd Division award with Wrexham boss Dennis Smith taking the award in the 3rd Division. The Conference award went to Yeovil manager Gary Johnson.
