FA Investigate Steel City Trouble

The FA are to investigate crowd trouble incidents during the Steel City derby game between Sheff Utd and Sheff Wednesday.

The FA are investigating serious crowd related trouble during the Steel City derby game which Utd won 3-1.

The investigating team have spotted very serious incidents and have quickly written to Sheff Utd and the local Sheffield police for there views on the incidents.

A spokesman from the FA's Crowd Control Unit told Utd's official website "The incidents that occurred were of a very serious nature."

"We have written both to Sheffield United and to the police as we continue to gather information on this incident." the spokesman also added

The FA are waiting for a report from both camps (the club and the police) before taking there own action on the events.
