Pompey Grab Sasa Ilic

Portsmouth have moved to boost there squad by signing former Charlton keeper Sasa Ilic.

Harry Redknapp has strenghened there squad by bringing in Sasa Ilic to cover for Shaka Hislop.

The former Charlton keeper Ilic has signed on a short term deal until the end of the season , he has just finished his contract from Hungarian side Zalaegerszeg.

Ilic had seven games under Graeme Rix last term but failed to get a contract, but Harry Redknapp who was Director of football last season made another move for him to deputise for Hislop.

Speaking to the Pompey official site Ilic said "I had a promotion push with Charlton a few years back and it looks as if it's all going to happen again."

"I know Harry well as it was he who helped bring me to Pompey when he was director of football."

"I really enjoyed my time at Pompey and was hoping that a deal could be done at the time."

"It wasn't to be but it is really great to be back and be part of a successful club." Ilic also added
