Neil Warnock is hoping to start talks with Michael Brown on getting him to commit his future at Bramall Lane.

Sheff Utd boss Neil Warnock is hoping to get the go ahead to start talks straight away with star midfielder Michael Brown.

Growing interest surrounding Brown's future at Bramall Lane is prompting Warnock to act quickly in getting Brown to sign on the dotted line ASAP.

Neil Warnock said "I am not surprised that Premiership clubs are being linked with Michael because he has been outstanding for us all season."

"But we have made progress in our discussions with his representatives and the offer is now due to be put to the board for approval."

"The good thing is we don't have to sell because of the money that has come into the club from the cup run this season." Warnock added

As reported yesterday Chelsea are keeping tabs on the highly rated player , after sending scouts to Bramall Lane to check out his progress , other Premier League clubs like Liverpool are also waiting in the wings to snap him up.
