Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Scottish international forward Eion Jess after the player agreed a compensation package with Bradford.
The 31-year-old signed a 2-year deal with his new club after agreeing compensation following his sacking in May.
Jess will not feature in Saturday's game against Portsmouth though.
Despite this Jess was still delighted about the move when speaking to the Forest website. Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Scottish international forward Eion Jess after the player agreed a compensation package with Bradford.
"There really was nothing we could do about - it was out of our hands.
"I'm just delighted to get the chance to move to Forest and have the opportunity to play football again."
Forest boss Paul Hart was also delighted with the signing. "Eoin is an excellent signing for us," said Hart. "He's the right type of player, the right type of person and he offers us many, many options.
"But the bottom line is the fact that he's a very good footballer."
