One word...diabolical

After the past two games ive started to wonder if the Division 2 table is upside down, Wrexham have looked a side struggling against relegation against division 3 bound Chesterfield AND Notts County.

If someone said sum up the game in one word it would be diabolical

If someone said sum up the game in one word it would be diabolical. Harsh words maybe but its the truth.

The first half was disappointing to say the least with sloppy passing and nothing going right for Wrexham, then to make things even worse struggling Nott's County scored to go in the lead, we seemed to lack threat up front and to go a goal behind didn't help the situation.

A subdued atmosphere at the Racecourse and to the shock of the over 4000 crowd, Dennis Lawrence and Andy Dibble had an argument over a decision to clear the ball, Lawrence disagreed with Dibble and shouted his views then Andy Dibble pushed Dennis Lawrence to anger the situation even more, things looked like boiling over for Wrexham. No doubt that manager Smith gave them a roasting at half time!

The second half saw a triple substitution by Denis Smith with Stephen Roberts, Chris Armstrong and Jim Whitley coming on, this decision seemed to back fire at Smith as not long into the second half Hector Sam came off injured to leave a struggling Wrexham side with 10 men for the best part of 35 minutes.

Wrexham had chances to equalise but were not on form and didn't have that final touch to make the breakthrough!

Chris Armstrong made little affect upfront with a jaded Chris Llewellyn who seems to be still celebrating his goals at the Blackpool game.

I predicted 6 points from the past couple of games and we have got 0 points, with a few away games due in the up and coming weeks it is going to be very difficult for Wrexham to mount a play-off chance, there needs to be serious talks about the past two performances and action must be taken now.
