Club Respond To Transfer Rumours

Tigers manager Peter Taylor missed his post-match interviews on Saturday due to "important club business", which assistant manager Colin Murphy hinted could be transfer dealings. Ever since, rumours have been spreading like butter!

Mansfield Town's Liam Lawrence is one of the names mentioned as a possible target, along with Preston forward Pawel Abbott (who is also wanted by Huddersfield) - who scored 4 goals in a 6-game loan spell with the Terriers.

Swansea City forward Lee Trundle and Scunthorpe's Steve MacLean have also been touted, along with Torquay's David Graham.

Hull Chairman Adam Pearson however, denied: "I know what people are saying but I can assure you we will not be signing anyone else this season.

"Peter and I are more than happy with the squad. Saturday was a very important result and we have every confidence the players will kick on from here."
