Chelsea have emerged as favourites to sign Juventus striker David Trezeguet after it was revealed that Barcelona are only willing to offer Juve 10 Million instead of the 14 Million that Juventus are wanting.

Juventus vice-president Roberto Bettega is believed to be in yet more talks with Chelsea over the Frenchmans future and has told the London club that they can sign him for 14 Million.

Although the player himself is thought to prefer a mover to Spain with Barcelona, barca's estimate is way short of the Turin based clubs evaluation it seams increasingly unlikely that a deal can be done, leave Chelsea clear favourites.

This will be Juve's last chance to cash in on the striker as his contract is up at the end of next year.
