Spurs have opened talks with AS Roma with a view to making loan star Mido’s deal with them permanent. Mido has formed an impressive partnership with Defoe and boss Martin Jol wants to make sure he keeps his Egyptian star.
Mido has only actually made 10 starts at Spurs in his 9 months with the club and is currently sidelined with a hamstring, but that does not worry Jol who told the Daily Mirror:
"He looked very good in pre-season and I think we are trying to get him on a permanent basis," confirmed the Spurs Head Coach.
