The 23-year-old, who is being released, has an ankle injury and will miss the rest of the season, while striker Barry Wilson serves the last game of a two-match ban against Dundee United.

Defender Marvin Andrews is ruled out with a ruptured thigh leaving Livi with only Julian Maidana as a natural centre-half. David McNamee may move into the backline as cover for the visit of the Tangerines.

Dundee United manager Ian McCall has the relative luxury of a fully fit squad to choose from.

Goalkeeper Alan Combe, who has been linked with a move to Bradford, is set to start again.

He replaced out-of-form Scotland international Paul Gallacher for the 2-2 draw at Motherwell last week.
