Saka Celebrates as England go on to final Player Ratings

Brilliant victory for an England team that remained united against racism.  The racist boo boys were drowned out by thousands of decent fans. Ordinary people have gone gone through hell the last 2 years with Covid.  This victory has brought joy to many, but its important we don't let those who dont want tp protect us from the further ravages of Covid get away with it. Enjoy the final but dont let them con us into believing we are all in it together.

Pickford 3- Nervous wreak.  Poor kicking.  should have saved the free kick and kept on punching the ball.

Walker 8- The guy was immense and his pace throughout the tournament has been vital.

Stones 8-Composed and intelligent. Solid.

Maguire 8- Solid again.

Shaw8-The best left back in the world.  Another brilliant performance.

Rice 5-  Struggled but work his socks off.

Phillips 6- Same as Rice but showed more intelligent in his reading of the game and covered the space better.

Saka 8- Got England back into the game.  He deserves to start the final.  Great moment for the equaliser.

Kane 8-  Diving and cheating but played a few great passes and scored the winner.

Sterling 10- Dived for the pen but he carried the attack and is on fire.  He's owed an apology by certain people in the media!

Grealish 8- Great camero.  Was shocked he was subbed off

Foden 7 - Looked lively

Henderson 7- Steadied the ship

Trippier 7- Ran down the clock well

Southgate 10- Leader.  Has brought a smile back to the nation.  Should be knighted (If you believe in that sort of thing. ED).

Now on to the Italians.  Win this and there should be a national holiday.  Enjoy your night people.

Saka was brilliant and absolutely deserves to start the final. I thought he linked up well with sterling and Kane.

Can't get over England being in the final. There is such raw talent in this squad

Look like England can only win the Finals at Wembley.

After 55 years, did Geoff Hurst really scored that goal? (Sm154)

Ratings are good, but I agree with Boston, in that I thought Foden was poor when he came on and not worth a 7.

Since the end of WW1, 1919, when the FA restarted its 4 tier football league, with Arsenal fc in the 1st div, thereโ€™s only ever been one club to have never been relegated from Div 1/ EPL.

Arsenal fc

Letโ€™s keep making history

We will never know as the Russian linesman Tofiq Bahramov who gave that contentious goal to England pass away in 1993.
