No Hope No Goals Bottom of Table Arsenal Player Ratings

No shots on target, no goals and no hope!  The season looks a write off already!

Leno-2 Made a few good saves but I think he could have done better for the first goal and you can never be happy when you concede 5

Cedric-1 Hopeless!  Can't defend or attack.  He's far worse than Bellerin and that's saying something

Chambers-2 Another player not good enough.  He was out of he depth and looked like a rabbit in the headlights.

Holding-2 Let a player 6 or 7 inches smaller score a header, which is totally unacceptable.

Kolasinic- 2 His marking for their 3rd was hopeless.  Hopefully he's sold soon.

Tierney-2 Poor positional play once again and weak in the tackle.  Tavares will take his place soon if his poor form continues.

Xhaka-1 Gave the ref the chance to send him off.  Liability and Let the club down.

Odegaard- 2 Offered nothing and was off the pace.

Saka-2 Doesn't seen right mentally. Looks tired and looked sluggish getting back to help the defence.

Smith Rowe- 2 Ran about a lot without offering anything productive.  If we had a proper squad he'd be a sub.

Auba-2  No impact but got no service.

Laca-2 No impact

Eleney-2 No inpact

Player Ratings v City

Leno 4 should have done better with the first goal.

Cedric 2 not good enough. Another Arteta signing who has failed.
Chambers 2 he is a championship level player or a bad PL team who will be relegated level player.
Holding 4 ‘only one who came out with any credit’ to quote Keown
Kolasinac 3 relegated with Shalke last season now playing CB for us. Great times.
Tierney 4 he gets extra points for trying. He’s not the best though. But clearly not one of our main issues either.

Xhaka 0 Gundogan outclassed him early on. Then he fouls him for their goal and hugs him after the foul. Then he taps out as he didn’t fancy it like he has done so many times. I have friends message me laughing at me because of Xhaka. He is one of the main reasons we are a laughing stock. How many more posts will I write like this on him?
Odegaard 3 too lightweight. Can’t play CM against City. No pace power or energy which is what we needed.

ESR 4 tried to run a bit so kudos to him.
Auba 2 didn’t feature
Saka 2 didn’t feature

Elneny 4 at least he brings energy and some passion
Laca 4 battles hard. Extra points for clapping the fans lol

Kolasinac actually didn't make mistakes, he didn't do much right but the other defenders made mistakes

Theodore roosevelt - In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.

Holing?
Did Keown watched the 1st goal?
And those gaps between CB and FB which are autobahns for all Man CIty to run through?
Holding supposed to be one of the "leaders"!

Too disheartened to give rating.(Sm55)

Saliba and Mavrapanos are getting rave reviews but we have to put up with Holding and Cedric because we've got a manager who doesn't understand how important physicality is,.

The first goal was a mistake by Chambers not Holding. Chambers misjudged the ball flight, missed the header for the opponent to score. Leno could have done better and the header was not particularly strong and he pushed it into the goal.

Cross from left.
Holding was in front of Gundogan, misjudged flight of ball, giving Gundogan a free header.
Now that you mentioned it, not sure is it the 1st or 2nd goal.

3rd goal?
Pass from our right side.
Jesus moved into space between CB with Kolasinac too slow to react.

Correct. Tend to agree with what BG said yesterday during the game that it doesn't matter that much as both were suspect - but Chambers was at fault for the first goal and was a wimp for the second. Holding clearly at fault for the 4th goal as MotFD pointed out.

GS is right - absurd to have loaned out 3 big strong quick CBS (Saliba, Mavropanos & Ballard - all of who are doing really well at their new clubs). At least one of them should have been retained for the season.

Spurs top of the table.

9 points behind and bottom of the league Arsenal.
Ferk you Arteta.

The absurd part is signing the extremely slow Mari.. Even if he is a back up, what are the ppl running the club thinking. I guess any Kia player will get signed is the motto.

Mavropanos injured again.

He would fit in really well here

We did well getting him away on loan.

Arteta 0% offers nothing and getting worse

Can We Now Trust The Process 🤔🤷🏿‍♀️ or Should We Still Remain Cautious 🙇🏿‍♀️

I think it's loan with a mandatory purchase if Schalke don't get relegated. He did score yesterday though before he got injured.....
