West Ham Preview: A Wonderful Opportunity

Chelsea have a wonderful opportunity to go SIX points clear at the top of the Premiership after the URE sensationally crashed at Craven Cottage yesterday but the best result of the day was the rat-eating bin-dippers SEVENTH League defeat at struggling Portsmouth.

Chelsea travel to Upton Park to be reunited with legends Gianfranco Zola and Steve Clarke and I hope that Chelsea put on a display that will ram the critics words straight back down their throats following the Portsmouth victory.

As I have said before Chelsea have become and are an easy target for those who think they know it all!!

Boss 'Anco' announced that Didier Drogba, Joe Cole and Ricky Carvalho all return to the starting line-up following their absence in midweek and I fully expect Chelsea to win against a struggling West Ham side, despite the fact that the Boleyn faithfull will be 'up' for the game and will get behind their struggling team.

No doubt Super Frank will get his normal 'warm' welcome.

It was Ancelotti who sold Gianfranco to Chelsea when he was boss of Parma and 'Anco' took time out to explain that he had made a mistake in selling Zola to us.

He said, "I did a mistake with him because I wanted to play 4-4-2 and I put him on the right, and he would like to stay in the centre like a striker.

"In that period there was this discussion, Chelsea arrived to offer him a good contract and he decided to come.

"I think it was a mistake because it was my first experience in Serie A and I was not able to change the system, I preferred to maintain the system I knew well, and for this Gianfranco had a different decision. But a lot of time has gone and now we have a good relationship. I think he had a fantastic experience at Chelsea and all the fans remember his performance."

Boss, don't worry. We are all glad you made that 'mistake.'
