Super Frank hit four as Chelsea went on the rampage scoring SEVEN at Stamford Bridge for the second time this season. Super Frank surpassed the late Peter Osgood's (King of Stamford Bridge) tally and the great Roy Bentley, Super Frank sits in third place with 151 goals and he has his sights set on Kerry Dixon with 193. Not bad eh...For a 'fat' midfielder.
The scoreline was unexpected but welcomed. Martin O'Neil didn't expect it, the fans didn't expect it and I am sure both Carlo and Ray didn't expect it either.
Bet Mr A loved it thiough, sitting high up in the West Stand.
As I have always said in the past, first and foremost football is a result business and if you get entertained along the way, it's a Brucie bonus.
With 52 goals scored in the League already at Stamford there should be no complaints.
Both teams lined-up with attacking formations. Chelses surprisingly left out Didier and started with Joe Cole, Anelka and Florent Malouda. Villa with Agbonlahor, Carew and Ashley Young.
After the game talking with a coffee and a hamburger while waiting for the tube queue to thin out, fans were saying Chelsea play better football without Dids and Didier has scored THIRTY times this season!!
O'Neill said, "We were well beaten today and I couldn't have seen it coming. Even at half-time I thought we were in the game."
"It was devastating. I have been in the game as a player and manager for quite some time and you get taught quite a few lessons along the way but that was tough.
"Chelsea are a really good team and at 3-1 they had all the confidence in the world while we capitulated. After 3-1 any concerns they had before about us and getting something from the game were blown away."
O'Neill finished saying, "In terms of finishing 4th, we wouldn't finish 44th."
Florent Malouda continued his excellent form with two goals, Kalou chipped in with the 6th after coming on as a late substitute and Yury Zhirkov can count three assists to his name with three splendid runs into Villa's area - two penalties and a cross.
Chelsea have a complete week to prepare for the visit to ManUre next Saturday lunchtime and after the last few days with Chelsea scoring TWELVE goals in stunning style, my reservations about the visit to Old Trafford have disappeared, and I am sure I can hear the 'Fat' Lady warming up.

And what about some of the performances? Deco was excellent as was Anelka (although he didn´t score).
Will Ancelotti be as brave against the Mancs playing wide men? Or will Ferguson play a 5 man midfield anyway so we revert to the diamond? How does he get Zhirkov forward more where is happier than in defence?

Away from home we have got to be patient and just keep the ball like we know we can then with devastating pace hit them on the break.
Malouda is on fire and i tip him to get the winner at Old trafford 2.1 to the blues.
