Frankfurt 2-1 Chelsea: van Aanholt A Natural Replacement?
Patrick van Aanholt

The Christmas turkeys continued in the Commerzbank Arena, Frankfurt yesterday as Hilario, John Terry and an unfortunate Jeffrey Bruma contrived to give Frankfurt an early present when they all mucked up an easy clearance for Ochs to steer the ball into an empty net.
Last week we had Turnbull's turkeys in Amsterdam and surely when we play Hamburg on Wednesday we can get through a game without making silly juvenile and schoolboy errors.
Hurry back Petr......please!!!
Super Frank equalised after superb work by Patrick van Aanholt before Matic got caught out in a shirt pull in the area allowing Altintop to smash home the penalty.

Fabio Borini wasted a glorious chance to equalise when one-on-one, Fahrmann saving with his legs.
Borini may be able to score one-on-ones for fun in training, but he cannot do it in 'real-time,' as on half-a-dozen occasions last season in the reserves he blew similar opportunities.
I am getting a little bit fed up with Ashley Cole and this so-called 'desire' to join Jose and Real Madrid to escape his personal life hell.
You made your bed son now lie in it, after playing around with those 'skanks' and betraying the beautiful Cheryl, then during the World Cup saying 'I F**KING HATE ENGLAND AND THE PEOPLE!!'
Man we all know Cole is not the sharpest tool in the box, but is he really a coward too?
Cole knows that he is going to be booed everywhere he goes this season, starting on Sunday in the Community Shield then continuing when England play Hungary THREE days before the Premiership season kicks-off.
Face up to your responsibilities and be a man. Just like JT did last season - abused by fans all over the country - but he picked himself up and went on to win the 'Double.'
The boss 'Anco' has re-affirmed Chelsea's stance by insisting that Cole is not going anywhere and not for any price, but my own personal view is that if the coward wants to take the easy way out, then let him go as Chelsea could already have his replacement on the books in Patrick van Aanholt.
Patrick, still only 19, looked calm, assured and confident when he came on as a second-half substiute and he proved he likes to attack when providing the pass for Super Frank to equalise yesterday.
Patrick had two loan spells last season. The first at Coventry where he made 20 appearances and during his short time with Newcastle United where he made 7 appearances, he was warmly received by the Toon Army.
From what I have seen of Patrick through the reserves and his brief first-team appearances, I would have no problem accepting him into the left-back position.
I would rather have some-one who has the hunger and desire to succeed playing in Blue, than a sulky-boy coward who just wants an easy way out!!

Now not only was the article just a way for you to air your grievances over the fact that Ashley had Cheryl and was still sleeping with more women than you ever have but then you follow it up with the moronic reply of "I I honestly DO NOT think we will make any more signings!!" in case you hadn't noticed Ramires is all but signed, before Friday we will have a new signing and hopefully someone with some sense bans you from making topics/threads of this stupendous inaccuracy and biase.
And I thought we lived in a democracy!!!
