Capacity - 7,066 (3.912 Seated)

 

Away Stand Facilities - Up to 1,100 visiting fans can be housed in the new Carlsberg Stand.  This stand is covered, all-seated and situated behind the goal.  If demand requires it, an extra 1,500 visiting fans can be housed in one end of the In2Print Stand which is covered and is at the side of the pitch (adjoining the Main Away Stand). 

 

Food and Drink - Whaddon Road has the usual catering facilities for a Football Stadium with Pies, Hot Dogs, Burgers and Bacon Baps available from the food bar within the Stadium.  There is a Fish and Chip Shop close to the Stadium as well.

 

There is a Bar at the Stadium called the Robins Nest that usually allows in a limited amount of away fans for a small entrance fee and there are a number of other Pubs close to the Stadium.

Parking

 

There is no Parking for supporters at the Stadium itself and Street Parking is also very limited.  A free Park and Ride service operates on match days from Cheltenham Racecourse with journey times averaging around ten minutes to the Stadium depending on traffic.  The Racecourse is well signposted from most main routes into the Town.

 

The Parklands Social Club next to the Stadium does offer a limited amount of parking at £4.00 per car on match days but fans may need to arrive early to use this facility.

 

By Road

 

From the North:

§         Exit the M5 at Junction 10 and then take the A4019 in the direction of Cheltenham.

§         At the traffic lights, continue ahead and when you reach the roundabout that has a McDonalds on the left hand side, turn left.

§         Continue ahead at a pair of mini-roundabouts and then turn right onto Swindon Lane further up the road.

§         Cross the Level Crossing and then continue straight ahead at the next roundabout where the Racecourse will be on the left (from the Racecourse a park and ride service operates to the Stadium on match days).

§         If you are continuing to the Stadium itself, turn right into Albert Road after the Racecourse (this will be signposted for Gloucestershire University) and then at the roundabout turn left into Prestbury Road and then right onto Whaddon Road where the Stadium will be on the left.

 

From the South:

 

§         Exit the M5 at Junction 11 and turn right in the direction of Cheltenham.

§         At the first roundabout you encounter, go straight across and the turn left at the next roundabout onto Princess Elizabeth Way.

§         At the next roundabout go straight across and you will eventually come to a big roundabout, where you will see a McDonalds.  At this roundabout go straight across.

§         Continue ahead at a pair of mini-roundabouts and then turn right onto Swindon Lane further up the road.

§         Cross the Level Crossing and then continue straight ahead at the next roundabout where the Racecourse will be on the left (from the Racecourse a park and ride service operates to the Stadium on match days).

By Rail

 

Cheltenham Station is about two miles from the Stadium so the only real way of getting from there to the Stadium is by taxi.

 

**Rovers Fans should also note that due to the Evening Kick-Off for this game, no train would return to Liverpool or Chester until the following morning so if you are travelling by train, an overnight stay is probably required**
