Jennings Tells of the Belief in the Tranmere Camp!

Tranmere midfielder, Steven Jennings, today told the Official Tranmere Website that he and his fellow team-mates have the belief that is needed to reach the end of season play-offs. Rovers have some massive games coming up in the vital run in - including Saturdays away trip to play-off chasers Walsall.
Total Tranmere looks at what centre midfielder Steven Jennings had to say to the official Tranmere website today. The interview comes before the vital run in to the play-offs where Rovers play some difficult games, including this coming Saturday when Tranmere will face play-off rivals Walsall, who are currently in bad form.
Jennings told the Official Website... "The belief is there. If it wasn't we wouldn't be as strong together as we are. Hopefully we can just get behind each other for the final few games.”
"You just need everyone to get behind you. If things aren't going your way in the first twenty minutes or so, you don't need people jumping on your back. The game is over 90 minutes and if you score in the first minute and win 1-0 or the last minute and win 1-0 it's neither here nor there. The added pressure will hopefully spur us on.”
Steve Jennings (above) could play a vital part in Rover's play-off push.
"We've got to go into every game thinking we can get three points out of it. There's some massive games left, games which are six pointers.” "We've not had a lot of luck this season, the only game I remember us getting some was against Hartlepool. Hopefully that can change in the last few games."
Although Rover’s have played a game or two more than the clubs around them, they still have a great chance to snatch a place in the play-offs and are currently sitting 6th in the table. The final two home games against fellow play-off rivals Nottingham Forest and Southend are sure to be huge games and the outcome of this season may well depend on them.
It's nice to see some belief in the Squad though and the fact that they are passing it onto the fans!
