We take a look ahead to tomorrow’s game when Cheltenham are the visitors to Prenton Park for the first of two home games in four days for Rovers in the League. On the back of yet another away success on Saturday at Leyton Orient, Rovers will be hoping for a maximum home return this week to throw them into the play-off race.

After the lows that followed the 3-1 home reverse against Millwall nine days ago, the mood amongst Rovers fans is perhaps a little more upbeat now following yet another success on the road, this time a 1-0 win at Leyton Orient on Saturday.
Everyone at the club will be aware though that Saturday's win will count for a lot less if Rovers fail to take at least four points (but preferably the maximum six) from the two home games that follow in the space of four days.
Some may think that six points from a possible six at home to two struggling sides isn't too much of a tall order but let us not forget that Rovers have lost their last three home matches in League One, conceding eight goals in the process and scoring just four.
Cheltenham have only lost twice in their last six matches but away from home their record is appalling with no wins, one draw and four defeats so far this season. In the process of gaining just one point on the road, Town have conceded seventeen goals and scored just six so far.
The last time the two sides met at Prenton Park was the final game of 2007 and Rovers ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a Calvin Zola goal just before the hour mark.
After recent results at home, 1-0 would do for Rovers tomorrow and a positive result is certainly needed ahead of the closely following Crewe game on Friday evening.
With Tuesday and Wednesday seeing Champions League action on TV, Rovers need all the support they can get so although the last few weeks have not been the best at home, get down to Prenton Park and support the lads - six points from the next six could see Rovers into the higher areas of League One before too long!
