In the latest edition of the most popular Footballing magazine, Bas Savage speaks exclusively to FourFourTwo about life at his current team Tranmere Rovers, hating Brighton & strutting his funky stuff. Though the magazine is only out once a month, it is an enjoyable read for most of the true footballing nation.

After all the discussion and aftermath of Tranmere's dismal 2-0 defeat to Bristol Rovers, I thought it would be good to write up the question and answer session after Bas Savage exclusively spoke to 'FourFourTwo'.
Having purchased the months latest magazine last Saturday while on my travels to Memorial Stadium I found this interesting piece hiding at the back with all the latest League One news.
Speaking to 'FourFourTwo' the Q & A began with:
FFT: Most susperstitious at the club?
BS: "The gaffer [Ronnie Moore]. If we win, he'll set up all the same training drills and do them again next week. The lads get a buzz of it, it means we've won, but he takes it to the extreme, insisting we wear the same kit."
FFT: Worst trainer at the club?
BS: "Ian Goodison. He's so laid back, he's almost horizontal. He looks like he doesn't want to bother and sometimes the lads get the hump. But in a game he's dynamite"
FFT: The Engine Room?
BS: "Steve Jennings, just ahead of Chris Greenacre. Steven is the worker in our team so you'd expect him to get around the pitch well and in training he can run all day"
FFT: Your room - mates worst habit?
BS: "I share with George O'Callaghan and he's never off the phone. He seems to have so many connections. Mind you, I am also known to have plenty of chats so we're probably not the best room for one of the lads to come in and watch telly!"
FFT: Rate your manager's football skills out of 10
BS: "He doesn't get involved so it's hard not to give him a rating, but i'll tell you one thing, he can talk a good game. He's always shouting at us during training and would get 10 for talking"
FFT: Team mate you'd never pick a fight with?
BS: "Ben Chorley's keen to give off the image that he is ready to go, but I think he's all front. He's a big softy at heart"

Savage in his Millwall days, where he spent one season on loan
FFT: Worst dressed team mate?
BS: "Adnan Ahmed wears the most bizarre, colourful stripey tops. He also comes in wearing shorts and sandals. He doesn't seem to be bothered that it's freezing and turns up for training like it's a day out in Dubai"
FFT: Player from your division you'd most like to sign?
BS: "Oldham's Chris Taylor. He plays on the left wing and was running all day at us. He can score goals too. We need someone to do a job for us on the left; the only problem might be that he's destined for bigger things"
FFT: Team in your League you'd most like to beat?
BS: "Brighton. They never offered me a deal when I was there and I was keen to stay. I was playing good football and I liked the area but couldn't agree a deal so I went to Millwall. Beating them would certainly make me happy"
FFT: Best night out/ bonding day?
BS: "Our captain Antony Kay has been slack on this front and we haven't had a good night out yet. I can't understand why, because we've had two Friday night games that have given us the weekend off. I must have a word with him because I want to throw in a few shapes!"

Thanks for sharing it with us non Four Four Two buyers Ste!
