Rovers Host Orient in FA Cup First Round

This afternoon's FA Cup First Round draw saw Rovers fans agonisingly wait until just four of the 60 balls remained in the pot before their side were handed a home tie against Leyton Orient, ensuring a faster than expected return to Prenton Park for former defender Ben Chorley who is now plying his trade with the O's.

This afternoon's FA Cup First Round Draw saw Tranmere drawn at home to League One rivals Leyton Orient and with the ties due to be played on the weekend of 7th/8th November, it ensures that Rovers will face the O's twice in two weeks, with the Superwhites making the trip to Orient's Brisbane Road Stadium two weeks later on Saturday 21st November.

Last season on Coca-Cola League One, the two sides played out a 0-0 draw at Prenton Park whilst earlier in the season at Brisbane Road, Tranmere had snatched all three points thanks to a first half winner from Chris Shuker that ensured a 1-0 win.
