Poll Results - Should Tranmere retain Les Parry as manager?

Total Tranmere brings you the result of last weeks poll

There were five options in the poll, "Yes", "No, he should return to his job as physio", "No, he should be retained as a coach but not manager", "No, he should leave the club" and "Unsure".

Despite all this, and despite over 100 people voting in the poll over seven days, there was no clear winner, showing that fans are clearly undecided as to whether Les Parry should be Tranmere's long term boss.

In total, 129 votes were cast in the poll, with only 1.5% voting for Parry to leave the club and 5.5% voting for Les to return to this job as physio.

The two clear favourite options in the poll though were for Les to return to his job as club physio, which earnt 41% of the poll, and then for Les to be named manager for next season, which, with 50% of the votes, was the winning option in the poll.

Analysing the results full though shows that 48% of the people who voted in our poll do not want Parry to be appointed Tranmere's manager next season.

Fans are clearly split then on whether the club's long-serving former physio should be appointed club manager, with Peter Johnson having a huge decision to be made over the next few weeks.

Rumours recently spread that Parry had signed a two-year contracta s Rovers manager, but no official announcement has been made yet, and with Parry on holiday in Kenya, no announcement is likely in the next ten days.
