Les Post-Match: "We Couldn't Raise Our Game"

Following Rovers' home defeat to MK Dons on Saturday afternoon, Manager Les Parry was particularly disappointed with the second half display by his side and felt that Rovers were unlucky to be behind at half time........

Tranmere Manager Les Parry was disappointed with the second half performance of his side following the 2-0 home defeat against a decent MK Dons side who are going well in League One.

Speaking to Tranmere Player after the game, Parry said.....

"They are a good side, I think they're the best side we've played this season.  I thought we were unfortunate to go in 1-0 down at half time and the stats will show we had a lot of chances and there was a period of about twenty minutes where they didn't even come in our half."

"But the second half was a non-event. It was a disappointment. We didn't really take the game to them, they were happy to stroke the ball around and we let them do it."

"The other thing was our second half inability to raise the game and generate some atmosphere.  Their first goal was a good goal. It was a great ball in and he attacked the ball well, so we're not blaming any of our lads."
