Total Tranmere brings you a run down of the best odds ahead of Friday's League One game against Bury

Article Header - Breaking News

Tranmere Rovers' first and only Friday night home game of the season takes place at Prenton Park this week when they take on Bury.  Despite the strong winds, Prenton Park remains standing (just) and as such the game goes ahead, with Rovers looking to pick up their first win in over two months.

Match Result:

Tranmere - 5/4 (Victor Chandler)
Draw - 12/5 (Various)
Bury - 12/5 (Various)

Half Time/Full Time:

Tranmere/Tranmere - 11/4 (Ladbrokes)
Tranmere/Draw - 16/1 (SkyBet and Stan James)
Tranmere/Bury - 40/1 (Various)

Draw/Tranmere - 9/2 (Various)
Draw/Bury - 11/2 (William Hill)
Draw/Draw - 17/4 (Victor Chandler)
Bury/Draw - 16/1 (SkyBet and Stan James)
Bury/Bury - 11/2 (William Hill)
Bury/Tranmere - 33/1 (Sporting Bet)

First Goal Scorer (Tranmere players only):

Mustafa Tiryaki - 7/1 (Bet 365)
Jose Baxter - 13/2 (William Hill)
Lucas Akins - 8/1 (Bet 365)
Andy Robinson - 10/1 (Various)

Adam McGurk - 7/1 (Bet 365)
Robbie Weir - 14/1 (Various)
Ian Goodison -  40/1 (BetFred)
Ash Taylor - 20/1 (Bet 365)

Anytime Goal Scorer (Tranmere players only):

Mustafa Tiryaki - 9/4 (Bet 365)
Jose Baxter - 11/5 (Coral)
Lucas Akins - 13/5 (Bet 365)

Andy Robinson - 7/2 (Sky Bet)
Adam McGurk - 9/4 (Bet 365)
Robbie Weir - 11/2 (William Hill)
Ian Goodison -  12/1 (Bet 365)
Ash Taylor - 7/1 (Bet 365)

Prediction: Bury are a good side and have picked up some great results since being promoted, with the Shakers so far picking up six wins away from home, a total only bettered by league leaders Charlton and MK Dons.

Tranmere will therefore have to fight hard for victory against a side who are five points and five places above them in the table, but Les Parry's side should be up for the game as they look to end their losing run, whilst they will be fresh having not played a match for 13 days due to their Boxing Day postponement against Rochdale.

It will, no doubt, be a really tight fixture, but I think Tranmere can sneak a victory and would put my money on Rovers to win 1-0 at a best price of 7/1 (Ladbrokes).

Please Note: Odds are subject to change, particularly on Saturday as kick off draws nearer or more bookmakers open up markets.  Total Tranmere does not encourage betting.

1-0. Goalscorer; anybody, I don't care who, just chuck that losing streak in the bin and start a potential cruising streak instead.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

I'm always wrong, so I'll say 1-2 with Goodison scoring.

Was gutted Ash scored at the end....I backed us to win 1-0 at 6/1 and also had £2 on Joss first goal and Tranmere winning 1-0 at 55/1! Ha ha.

Great win. Labadie now our top league scorer with four goals despite his limited game time.
