I will not be at this match as it was such a bad day when I went there for the league game. Oxford were the worst team I've seen this season but once they scored the first goal we just rolled over and died.Turned turtle.I am not prepared to watch that again. The train fares are higher than they were last time so I will be going to Dagenham instead the following week.

mini_andy I think we will win quiet easily. Last time we played them, we battered then until they scored, then our heads dropped. That won't happen again.
I totally agree! As bas as that game may have seemed by the end we were the better side in that opening part until they scored!
Looks like we should be absolutely chuffed with that result. Seems like we were outplayed, but a bit of quality from Base has pulled us through. I think this result shows how far we have come under Adams. As previously I think we would have laid down and died after going 2-1 down. Well fought boys let's bring them back here and get ourselves through.

Outplayed?! We were easily the best side first half and deserved to be more than 1 goal in front.
Second half they came out quick, we came out terrible but their good spell lasted 20 minutes in which they scored twice and could have scored more but in the whole a draw fair but if you were going to say either team deserved to win I'd say we did... Just!
Hey I wasn't there but I'm just going of the stats and the live text which suggests they had more chances and put us under pressure towards the end of the game. Notice the words like LOOKS and SEEMS and this should tell you I wasn't certain but felt like I could make a judgement based on the fact that they had fifteen shots to our five, and seven corners to our two, as well as the fact that Barnett had two chances in the last three minutes.
A good result in the end and the fight that is now evident under Adams happened again.
Every reason for Tranmere to win the replay, because of who they might just get.
Liverpool 3rd round might be the one for some, as it's a local team, and if it was at Prenton Park, Tranmere might just get 10,000+ perhaps and due to them having a few scoring issues with Sturridge out, that could improve Tranmere's chances of winning.
Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
Think if we did get Lpool it would sell out. there's probably more lpool fans in Birkenhead than us for a start ! :-( . Great to be in the hat this year , Palios's must be made up
Plenty of food for thought after last nights performance, firstly thanks to Owain for the world class save in first half, I appreciate it was a horrible night but it just didn't look like some players were up for it, Rowe just didn't seem to do it for me but the set up didn't help him, we needed them substitutions and it made us look far more dangerous, let's hope we keep them for Friday, thought Danny was fine just a shame his final ball was grim, Jenno & Max ran their legs off. Needed our front two more mobile both in attack and defence.
Agreed about Rowe, I have been one of the ones shouting for him to get a run in the team, but based on the last couple of performances I'm sorry to say he had the chance but showed nothing.
I was surprised to see Fenelon on the bench as we don't have much pace without him, although would have felt a bit hard on Odejayi who had his best game at home against Walsall.
Anyway at least we changed tactics decisively, their fans are going mad about the lack of substitutions.
For all Rowe has touches of creativity he is lightweight defensively and leaves us open to being over run in midfield. At this level most players have some weaknesses but his are just too significant.
January, could be interesting, we could see the loss of Jennings, and the sale of Power. In that case we would need a completely new midfield.
We were lucky last night against moderate opposition. The result shows how Adams is making a better use of the squad but the performance also shows that somehow we need to strengthen the squad come January. The cup run might at least provide a bit of extra cash to help that process
Odejayi decides to get 2 goals and an assist in 3 games. Why couldn't he do this sort of thing sooner, as suddenly he seems like someone who's becoming indispensable, whereas up until now he came across like a potential candidate for the back door shuffle in January.
