Tranmere Striker Lost In Translation

A complicated affair. But at the moment Rovers' striker Calvin Zola, is not able to play. The striker, has a problem with his residency and the issue will be unplugged on this article, to get rid of any confusion as it is a real brain teaser.

Tranmere's 19-year-old striker has found himself in a real tricky situation. There have been alot of rumours coming out from the issue.                                       

In the past week Calvin Zola has been rumoured he's been instructed to leave the country and go back to his native, Democratic Republic of Congo. But this is truely false information for the time being, as you will find out. So we, at Total Tranmere, have decided to resolve the matter.

When Calvin was only was only a little lad, if he's ever been small, about the age of 15 his parents sent him to Newcastle to be educated and make something of himself. To do this he had to live on his mum's passport and visa. This is perfectly legal, until the age of 18. Now this is where the problems start.

As I've already said Zola is 19 years old, and has been since he came to Tranmere. So his mum's travelling documents have run out for him to use. But theres still another twist.

As long as he was still in his education he's allowed to stay in the country, but he's not.

At the age of 16 he was scouted by Newcastle and later that year signed to the club. Now keep with me. He was still at college. At 17 he went to Oldham on a full seasons loan. And still at college. As the complicated story continues he's 18 and the documents time of him using them have ran out, and further more he's finished his college course.

Unaware of his situation, Zola signs for Tranmere a month after his 19th birthday. Now there are plenty of questions that have to be answered on Rovers part of the deal.

1) Didn't they check his work permit, as they did know his native is not Britain.

2) They must have informed someone about the deal of Zola coming to Rvoers, so where weren't any questions raised then aobut his availability.

3) And finally now what happens to Calvin.

I have come to figure out that there are plenty of options that can happen to both the club and player.

Option 1) Nothing, the matter is sorted and every isssue sorted out.

Option 2) Tranmere get a small fine and told to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Option 3) Tranmere get a point deducition for not making sure of Zola's status.

Option 4) Calvin gets sent home, Rovers are minus a striker which they wanted on their books.

Option 5) Options 2,3 and 4 either all happend or two of them.

Of course nothing is certain yet, but we will update you as soon as we can.
