Details Released For Celeb Match

Details of the Liverpool Legends versus Celebritites XI game have been released. The idea sprouted from Tranmere captain, Jason McAteer, who wanted to do something to help the poor victims of the Tsunami disaster.

Details have been released for the Liverpool Legends vs Celebrities XI. Also a few names have been dished around for the match.

Tickets will go on general sale on Monday 28th February. The match is being held on March 27th, and will be held at Liverpool's stadium, Anfield.

Tranmere captain, Jason McAteer, conjured up the idea and has planned everything to the miniscule detail, along with the help of his agent, Dave Lockwood.

Some celebrities that have been confirmed to play are, Westlife's Brian McFadden and Nick Bryne. Also Eastender's star Shane Richie is set to pull on his boots.

The managers of the two sides are also declared, with former Reds boss, Roy Evans taking the Legends and current Southampton boss, Harry Redknapp, managing the Celebrities XI.
